What do drivers pay for a gallon of Diesel in the US? here in London UK the
price has gone crazy I just paid Ł1.00 per Litre= $8.30 per gallon,a lot of
drivers are quitting taxi driving because you have to work at least half
your shift to pay for your expenses,ie cab.insurance,meter rental,radio
rental,& compulsary overhaul which can cost Ł2000.00 = $3700.00

Thats only about $6.79 not $8.30

thats using 1 pound Sterling equals $1.84 American
and 3.79 litres to the US gallon (its 4.54 for the Imperial gallon
which you appeared to have used)


Up here in Canada, Diesel fluctuates with gasoline (tho not to quite the =

same extent). The last weekly report said it was selling at .95 to $1.13


(Cdn) per litre. Average $1.04 Cdn
To convert that to US funds and US gallons its $3.33 per US gallon

Using US weekly reports they were between $2.80 and $3.13 per gallon of
diesel (lowest was Virginia highest Nebraska

Those percentages are, of course, gross pay (before taxes).

Hi , I'm a taxi driver from Rome, Italy, consider that here taxi drivers pay
1.15 eurocent for each liter.
In a normal day of work with a middle-class cab we spend about 20-35
euro...it's very crazy!!!
