??? about possible rent scamby DAVID@WHATNOW.COM on 2006-11-11 11:21:18 Hi,I have a place I'm trying to rent, and sometimes advertise online. People saying they are from other countries often act as if they want the place right away, and they always want to send a check in excess of the amount I'm asking saying the extra money is for their expenses. Is this a scam where they want to send me a bad check for too much money, with the idea that I'll send them the "difference" which would the the only real money that would be exchanged, or something like that?
